State/Regional Affiliate Program
The ASCO State/Regional Affiliate Program addresses the practical needs of practicing oncologists by offering a range of services to local oncology societies. The affiliate program includes 48 state or regional oncology groups who benefit from the Society's expertise and guidance on ways to strengthen their organizations, improve policies and procedures, enhance educational activities, and provide support for their members. Each state/regional affiliate has a voting representative on the ASCO State Affiliate Council, serving as a bridge between the affiliate and the Society.
Here you will find information on the resources and services available to state/regional affiliates, including contact information, Policies and Procedures for the State/Regional Affiliate Program and the State Affiliate Handbook.
For more information about the State/Regional Affiliate Program, contact the Policy and Advocacy Department at (571) 483-1670 or stateaffiliates@asco.org.
In addition to the core services detailed in this section, state and regional affiliates should also be aware of the additional Practice and Reimbursement and Legislative/Regulatory and Advocacy resources.
