  • May 2015 Industry Briefing & Affiliate Dinner -Representatives from 40 affiliate organizations gathered for a great evening of networking and presentations. The evening's guest speaker, UAW President Dennis Williams discussed the union's views on restoring the middle class and Kristin Dziczek of CAR previewed CAR's forthcoming talent study. CAR President & CEO, Dr. Jay Baron gave an overview of CAR's current work, and Dr. Sean McAlinden, Executive VP of Research and Chief Economist at CAR, presented his view of North American automotive trends in sales, production, and employment.
  • October 2014 Industry Briefing & Affiliate Dinner - Dearborn, MI. Representatives from 32 affiliate organizations gathered at the Dearborn Inn for insight into the Fuel Economy & Mid-Term review from CAR President & CEO, Dr. Jay Baron, and an North American Automotive Market economic update from Senior Research Economist,Yen Chen.
  • August, 2014 - MBS Kick Off Reception - Affiliate Networking Reception at the Golf Clubhouse at the Grand Traverse Resort on Sunday, August 3rd to kick off CAR’s 2014 Management Briefing Seminars.
  • May 2014 Industry Briefing & Affiliate Dinner - Plymouth, MI. CAR welcomed represenatives from 32 affiliate organizations and guest speaker Nigel Francis, Senior Automotive Advisor to the State of Michigan and Senior Vice President, Automotive Industry Office, who presented an update on the State of Michigan's Strategic Plan for automotive and future research initiatives.
